Over the past few years, we have all been touched by the ongoing food recalls and the significant impact they have had on our pets and people. We regularly hear from pet owners, that they are increasingly more concerned about what to feed their pets, and where all the ingredients in pet food products originate. We are proud to say, that the ingredients we use in all our products are 100% North American. We use only the finest organic and human quality ingredients to make our products, each chosen for their taste and their special nutritional properties. Our focus is on making each ingredient count. Why feed your dog foreign ingredients, additives and preservatives that you often can't pronounce, when you can feed them less . . . and get so much more ?!

It's the colour that counts!

Blueberries are ranked first in antioxidant activity. They contain antioxidant phytonutrients called anthocyanidins, that help to destroy free radicals that can lead to heart disease and cancer. They are high in the phytochemical resveratol that helps to keep our pets young at heart. They also support eye health and cell regeneration, including healthy tissue growth.

Cranberries have antibacterial adhesion properties, helping to prevent urinary tract infections. They contain tannins, also known as proanthocyanidins, that help to control dental flora that can lead to dental plaque and periodontal gum disease.

Red and Black raspberries contain ellagic acid which helps to neutralize free radicals. They are packed with flavonoids, including quercetin and have antimicrobial properties, helping to prevent overgrowth of yeast and bacteria.

Cinnamon acts as a digestive tonic. It is an anti-inflammatory, helping to ease muscle stiffness from arthritis and injuries. The calcium and fibre present in cinnamon adds extra protection against heart disease and it is a terrific mouth freshener!

Shiitake mushrooms contain an active compound called lentinan, which has the ability to power up the immune system, strengthening its ability to fight infection and disease. Shiitake mushrooms are also shown to have anti-cancer activity.

Broccoli is a member of the cruciferous vegetable family known to reduce the risk of cancer. Broccoli helps build resistance to infection, supports eye health, promotes healthy skin, and the folate present in broccoli supports a healthy heart.

The tannins in green tea have antioxidant, diuretic and anti-cancer activity and the high levels of flavonoids protect cells from oxidative damage by elimination free radicals.

Banana's are a good source of dietary fiber, Vitamin C, potassium, manganese and Vitamin B6

Carob is rich in natural sugars and contains all the principle minerals and vitamins such as calcium, phosphorus, iron, potassium, silicon, magnesium, Vitamins B1 and B2, niacin, some Vitamin A proteins. The large carbohydrates act as a thickener to absorb water, thus  helping to eliminate diarrhea, while the tannins bind to toxins helping to inactivate them. Plus dogs really love the taste of carob!

Strawberry's unique phenol content makes them a heart-protective fruit, an anti-cancer fruit and an anti-inflammatory fruit, all rolled into one! Strawberry's ellagitannin content has anti-cancer properties.

Vanilla helps in soothing the gastrointestinal system and helps to reduce inflammation.
